BA Commercial were instructed as Agents to dispose of 80-82 First Avenue, Deeside Industrial Park.
The property extended to 69,756 sq ft comprising of the original 1980’s building and two extensions, providing a range of good quality industrial/warehouse accommodation, general office administration areas and a secure car park with private access.
The total area extended to 3.96 acres, which included a further development plot opportunity of 0.73 acres.
Following the initial marketing campaign, many viewings were undertaken from investor/property companies and owner occupiers, together with prospective tenants.
Terms were agreed with Sandyford Properties based in Stoke on Trent who have a substantial land holding of the Brymau Estate in River Lane, Saltney, Chester.
Sandyford subsequently retained BA Commercial to act in the subsequent letting and terms were negotiated with Astra Vehicle Technologies Limited.
The double deal is the fact that BA Commercial sold the property and subsequently undertook the new letting within a period of less than six months.
BA Commercial Director, Fraser Crewe, commented “it was an excellent instruction for BA Commercial to secure in the first instance, in the sale of a high profile industrial building on one of Europe’s leading industrial locations, and then further delighted to have negotiated a letting of the building on behalf of Sandyford Properties Limited.”
