BA Commercial are delighted to put the iconic Waltons The Jewellers shop on the market for the first time in 112 years.
Waltons was founded in Chester fronting the historic Cross and has been a permanent fixture since 1909 when Edward VII was King.
The jewellery shop was founded by Bertram Walton in 1909 and his first shop was at The Cross which was followed in 1917 by a further shop on Eastgate Street and then a third in Wrexham.
The Managing Director, Richard Hogben, who has worked at Waltons since 1986, said that “the announcement of closure marks the end of a long and successful era and we would like to thank all our customers, old and new, and of course the vibrant Chester business community which has always been so incredibly supportive.”
